Kiski's Basketball Team Featured on WJAC-TV
The Kiski Varsity Basketball Team finished the season with a record of 16 wins and 4 losses. They were IPSL Champions and are currently ranked 21st in the country by Max Preps. The team has captured media attention regionally, nationally and internationally. WJAC-TV, which covers the Johnstown/Altoona/State Kiski School’s varsity wrestling team competed in the annual National Preparatory School Championships at Lehigh University. More than 130 preparatory schools participated in the annual championships. Kiski came in fourth place overall and won the Sportsmanship Award. Garrett Parsons '11, Eli Bezner '10, and Ryan Rebel '10 competed in the Pennsylvania High School Speech League State Tournament Qualifiers. Garrett and Eli competed in the Dramatic Interpretation event, where Eli captured first place. The Kiski wrestling team travelled to the Westtown School to participate in the Pennsylvania Independent School Wrestling Tournament.
