Do I have other responsibilities as an international student when submitting an application?
In some cases, international students need to fill out a completely different application. In addition, all international students are responsible for assimilating supplemental information to include identification forms and bank statements. We recommend that you contact the college or university directly to find out exactly what they require.

You need to find the college or university that possesses most of the attributes you feel are necessary to help you succeed at the next level. Early Decision- requires a commitment on your part to attend the college if you are admitted. You must withdraw all other applications upon acceptance. Application deadlines are usually November 1; notification is typically around December 15; and the reply date is usually in January.
Early Action- This plan offers the opportunity to apply before regular decision and to hear before regular decision applicants. If you are admitted, you do not have to respond until May 1. Does not require a commitment nor withdrawal of applications.
Rolling Admission- The college will review the applicant's folder as soon as it is complete and will return decisions within a few weeks. Many state universities follow this process.

The PROFILE does not replace the FAFSA - you must still file a FAFSA in order to be considered for federal student aid. You can obtain the CSS PROFILE form from the College Counseling Office or on-line as early as September 15 of the senior year.
To apply for federal aid, all students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid available in the College Counseling office or on-line. The FAFSA is available in late fall of the senior year and should be submitted as soon as possible after January 1 of the year in which a student plans to enroll in college.
