It is our intention in College Counseling to help guide our boys throughout their entire career here at Kiski. However, it is important to point out that our boys are still reponsible for filling out applications, financial aid forms and maintaining deadlines. We work together to find the optimal place for higher education. Basically the role of the school is:
- To help students make the best college match.
- To counsel students on academic courses.
- To advise students and parents on the process of the college search.
- To help students navigate standardized testing.
- To aid students in preparing resumes and college essays.
- To write recommendation letters to be sent to the colleges a student designates.
- To help students and parents obtain and decipher financial aid information and forms.
- To disseminate up-to-date information about colleges and college admissions.
- To assist and inform students and parents throughout the application acceptance process.
- To advocate for the student to the colleges and to make sure the colleges give our students fair evaluations.
