SAT Reasoning Test


The SAT Reasoning Test is a three-hour-and-forty-five-minute test that measures the critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and writing skills that students need to do college-level work. The test's three sections are critical reading, math and a 25-minute essay. The SAT Reasoning Test is usually taken in the junior year and again in the senior year. Most colleges and universities require the SAT Reasoning Test.


SAT Subject Tests


The Subject Tests are one-hour, primarily multiple-choice tests that measure knowledge of particular subjects and the ability to apply that knowledge. Most Kiski students begin taking the subject tests at the end of the junior year and during the senior year, although any student may wish to take aparticular test after completing the school course. Many colleges require one or more subject tests for admission, so students may take up to three subject tests on one test date.
