Every candidate for graduation from The Kiski School must successfully complete a total of 19 credits. Of these 19 credits, we require 17 to consist of the following:
- Four years of English
Four years of mathematics
Three years of the same foreign language
Three years of laboratory sciences
Three years of history beginning with the class of 2008
One year of fine arts
One year of ethics and personal development
In addition to these courses, students must write a research paper during their junior year. This project allows our boys to investigate a subject of interest in greater depth than it may otherwise receive in the regular curriculum. Additionally, it allows our students to conduct research and express their findings as they will at the college level. Through close collaboration with a faculty advisor, students will work through the various phases of the research process, from gathering information to constructing an argument and revising their written work. The research advisor will assess each boy's performance during the process and in the final product.
