Why Support Kiski?
A Unique School, A Common Call
A Kiski education is unlike any government-funded instructional experience in what we feel to be constructive and enriching ways. In order to operate without state and federal funding – and the limitations and impositions that go along with it – we have assumed the responsibility to generate the funds necessary to fulfill our mission. The tuition that we ask of our families helps us to accomplish this, but does not cover all of our costs. In fact, tuition only provides about 75% of our annual operating budget. To keep our tuition at a minimum, Kiski – like nearly every other independent school in the United States – must rely upon charitable gifts to thrive and grow.

A Noble Aim, A Worthy Cause
The financial support of our friends sustains our school. Some feel that a modest contribution does little to advance our cause – this misconception could not be further from the truth. Foundations and other major gift sources evaluate a candidate for their awards based upon the percentage of alumni, parents, and friends who give to the institution. Accordingly, every gift to The Kiski School brings us one step closer to our goal: 100% participation.
