WE UNLEASH BOYS TO CREATE.
It’s like turning on a switch that never goes off.

Giving boys the power to express their ideas, opinions and personality is a life-changing experience. While it happens daily in academic classrooms throughout The Kiski School, it takes on beautiful, astounding and brilliant forms in our various arts programs. Here students have the opportunity to discover new talents and hone existing ones through visual arts, drama and music programs.

In our art studio, boys learn to paint, sketch and sculpt using traditional methods and contemporary tools. Their original works may be showcased, along with faculty’s, in a gallery in the Rogers Fine Arts Center.

Students who are interested in acting can take part in our drama program, which produces two major performances each year. Recent productions have included I Hate Hamlet, a comedy by Paul Rudnik; Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s, Welcome to the Monkeyhouse; and Neil Simon's comic fable, Fools.

Our music program provides a wealth of opportunities, including introductory courses teaching performance, theoretical and listening skills. We offer jazz, a symphonic ensemble and opportunities for study with private instructors. Our Glee Club tackles music from classic Americana to contemporary a cappella. All groups perform numerous times throughout the year, including trips to nearby girls' schools for joint concerts.

Every spring, the Fine and Performing Arts department organizes An Evening with the Arts, the annual highlight of The Kiski School arts program. This special event is a cooperative production between the Glee Club and the Kiski Players.
