College Counseling
Special Interests
Each year Kiski sends over 20% of its graduates on to well-known college and university athletic programs.  These programs span all levels of intercollegiate athletics and have included such notable institutions such as Penn State University, The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Virginia Tech, Carnegie Mellon University, Middlebury College, The United States Naval Academy, Denison University, Gettysburg College, and Bates College.

The college office works closely with coaches and the family to assist and support college-bound athletes.  Kiski’s coaches often know the college coaches personally; the college counselors generally have contacts in the college or university admissions offices.  Between us we can help answer any questions or clear up any misconceptions.

NCAA Eligibility Center
In order to play intercollegiate athletics at the Division I or II level, you must be certified by the NCAA’s Eligibility Center. If you believe there is any chance you will be interested in or recruited by a Division I or II program, you should register with the NCAA Eligibility Center by December of your junior year.  You must complete the following:
  1. You may only register online; www.ncaa.org.  Remember your username and four-digit PIN number; if lost, you will have to re-register
  2. Send official SAT scores or ACT scores to the NCAA by putting “9999” on the appropriate blanks on the SAT/ACT registration form, or by going to your account at the testing service and request they send your scores.
