Summer Reading

The Kiski School emphasizes the value of reading, not only for academic achievement but also for pleasure and personal interest. Our goal is to create and preserve a culture of readership across the school community. Kiski's Summer Reading program requires all students to read over the summer. These requirements include: The All-School Book, Honors English texts, and one selection from the Summer Reading Book list.

The Summer Reading Book list is compiled each year by faculty members for the purposes of recreational reading and small group discussion. These titles cover a wide range of interests and genres, both contemporary and classic. New students must sign up for the group during the summer by emailing the Librarian at library@kiski.org
