A Message from the Director of Financial Aid

All families currently receiving financial aid for the school year, current families who have requested an application for financial aid for next year, and families of prospective students who requested financial aid on their application for admission, will be receiving the initial financial aid mailing in December. The instructions are detailed in the letter as well as the financial aid brochure that explains the process and policies. This mailing includes the Parents Financial Statement (PFS) that should be completed and received by SSS, by January 15. Financial Aid awards will accompany the re-enrollment contract that will be mailed on March 1st, and new recipients will receive their awards in the acceptance packet mailed on March 10th.

If you do not receive the mailing or would like to apply for financial aid, please contact Bill Ellis, Director of Financial Aid as soon as possible at 724-639-8035.

Financial Aid

Kiski tries to meet the financial need of all admitted students. In fact, 50 percent of our students receive need-based financial assistance totaling more than $4 million.

Financial aid awards are determined annually by Kiski's Financial Aid Committee, based on information supplied by the student's family to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS).

Tuition & Fees

For the 2018-2019 Academic Year:

Tuition, room, and board for domestic students is $59,600.
Tuition, room, and board for international students is $59,600 plus a $3,750 international student fee.
Tuition for domestic, day students is $34,800.

Payment is requested on the following schedule:

To reserve the student's place, a 10% enrollment deposit is to be paid within two weeks of acceptance, accompanied by your signed enrollment contract.

The remaining tuition balance is due in-full by July 1.  Families may choose to pay 60% on July 1 and 40% on December 1 or they may enroll in the FACTS 10 Month Payment Plan (May - February). Students are admitted for the entire school year only and no rebates are given for absence, withdrawal or dismissal except as noted on the contract.

In addition, a $1,000.00 non-tuition incidental account deposit is required by July 1. This account is for expenses a boy incurs that are not covered by tuition, such as: books; student store purchases (toiletries, school supplies, clothing); haircuts from the school barber; school laundry service; theater or concert tickets for school-sponsored, off campus trips; and a weekly allowance. A monthly statement of each student's account is mailed to his parents.
