Application Process

We firmly believe the admissions process begins with a visit to our campus, so you and your family can discover firsthand what the Kiski experience is all about. This visit also lets us get to know you, and helps us discover how we can best help you through the application process.

Applying to a boarding school can be a daunting process. It requires a commitment of time and resources on the part of students, parents, and the school.

However, Kiski's Admissions staff is dedicated to demystifying the process for parents and students. If you don't fully understand the application process we've outlined below, our staff will gladly answer questions by phone (1-877-547-5448), fax (724-639-8596), or email.

Application Dates & Deadlines

Applications to Kiski always exceed the number of available spots. Because admission to Kiski is competitive we recommend that families apply in the fall prior to the year they wish to enroll and by January 31. Applications received after our deadlines are considered as space is available.

Many prospective students begin the process in early fall the year before entry. The completed Parent Statement and the Student Statement create a file in the admissions office, and supporting documents can be added to the file as they arrive at Kiski. A campus visit and interview are required.  Please contact the admissions office for details, or view our on-campus events schedule.

The following general timeframes can help guide your family through the admissions process:

February — The admissions committee begins weekly meetings to consider applications. Families who complete the application by January 31, will be notified of decisions by March 10. Applications will be considered on an ongoing basis throughout the spring and summer as long as space is available.
