Kiski wins ISHL opener with a 3-0 home victory. The Cougars played their first game of the season against Linsly and played well enough to win. Billy Gillis finished with 16 saves for the shutout, while Jackman Schooley, Ben Foster and Nathan Salaris each found the back of the net with Nick Darrington chipping in two assists. TJ Spahn, Jason Stewart and Nathan Salaris played outstanding defense and logged a lot of minutes for the Cougars. The coaches were happy with the effort and feel there are a lot of positives to build on.
