Kiski Leadership Institute for Boys

Kiski invites students from other schools to participate in a special leadership conference.  The boys participate in leadership workshops, symposiums, and activities that were designed, co-led and facilitated by Kiski student leaders. Guests would arrive by 3:00 PM on Saturday 4/7/18, and they will be here until about 1:30 on Monday 4/9/18.
On Apri 23-24, 2017, Kiski hosted it's inaugural Leadership Institute Conference for boys. Representatives from Woodberry Forrest, Mavlern Prep, and Church Farm were on campus and participated in leadership workshops, symposiums, and activities that were designed, co-led and facilitated by Kiski student leaders.

The following young men played an integral role this year in planning each workshop: Divine Buckrham '17, Tommy Rubino '17, Ben Gardner '17, John Jacob '18,  TJ Spahn '18, Gannon Murphy '18, and Quinn Commandant '17. These boys led our guests in the conference workshops. In addition, the following Kiski students were included in the conference, making a nice balance of Kiski students and participants from other schools: Ben Crewe'19, Bryant Garcia '19, Sam Tackett '18, Grady Fagan'19, Jaedyn Conway '19, Zach Hegedus '18  and Aidan Gillespie '19.

One of the highlights of the Leadership Conference was the keynote speaker, Wade Hoag '15. Wade's inspirational story and success after a tragic accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down touched the hearts of the audience. His attitude towards life and his positive words, give hope to all of us. The Kiski community is proud of Wade and all of his hard work. We truly appreciate his motivational talks that he gives the boys and faculty.
