December 1, 2016 Alumni Event in Washington,D.C.

On the evening of Thursday, December 1, 2016 at The Metropolitan Club in Washington, DC, The Kiski School hosted a special “on the road” gathering for alumni, parents, and supporters.  Headmaster, Chris Brueningsen; Associate Headmaster for Advancement, Steve Szilagyi ’88; and, Director of Alumni Relations and Special Gifts Officer, Mark Rhodehamel, were in attendance to give personal updates about Kiski and the ongoing success of the School’s current $27 million Capital Campaign which has been supporting dorm renovations and expansions, campus improvements, scholarships, and the newly added indoor and outdoor athletic centers.  In addition, Mr. Brueningsen and Mr. Szilagyi supplied information and updates about the recently launched fundraising project focused on the Zeigler Science and Engineering Center to be built at Kiski. In sum, the School’s new Science and Engineering building project will include renovations to the existing biology and chemistry labs in Heath Hall (the main classroom building) as well as the reconfiguration of the classrooms that will be vacated when the physics, Makerspace, robotics, and STEAM facilities are relocated into the new science and engineering center.  Everyone in attendance enjoyed the many positive updates about the School’s ongoing progress as well as the enjoyable comradery that is always plentiful at Kiski alumni and donor gatherings.  If you would like to learn more about Kiski’s capital campaign for Zeigler Science and Engineering Center, please contact: Steve Szilagyi, Associate Headmaster for Institutional Advancement, at: 724-639-8029 or steven.szilagyi@kiski.org.
