COUNSELING SERVICES

OVERVIEW:

Kiski recognizes that not every challenge our students face can be resolved by talking to the Dean of Students, a teacher, advisor, or coach.  As a result, we provide counseling services as a resource for our boys to help them lead healthy well-balanced lives.

When classes are in session, Kiski’s consulting psychologist, Dr. William Bush, is normally available on campus, Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Dr. Bush supports students in a wide variety of counseling issues including anxiety, depression, homesickness, relationship difficulties, parental strife, sexual identity, stress management, bereavement, and family issues.

Appointments can be scheduled with Dr. Bush by contacting the Kiski Health Center at 724-639-8034.
Short-term counseling is available to all students and the cost is included in tuition fees.  Referrals are also available if a student requires resources outside the level of support we can provide on campus.  Referrals to outside professionals are managed on a “fee for service” basis and any associated costs are the responsibility of the student’s family.
