Cross Country - Varsity

Competitive Cross Country and the Kiski campus is a near-perfect match. With over 350 rural acres, miles of wooded trails, almost endless grass fields and one of the finest courses in western Pennsylvania what more could a serious cross country athlete want? How about direct access to hundreds of miles of both rustic and maintained trails in the surrounding countryside?

At Kiski we approach cross country as it should be, true to the nature of the sport. All training is done on grass, wooded trails and demanding hills. This ensures that the athlete develops all the aspects required for successful competition. The progressive development of speed, strength, agility, endurance, teamwork and a competitive spirit are stressed in an integrated training scheme.

Our philosophy on cross country seems to be working as Kiski has been successful at consistently producing high caliber collegiate runners.
