Why Kiski?

Our students are at the center of everything we do

Kiski delivers a life-changing education. Our core belief is to prepare boys and girls to succeed in college and life, not just the next grade level. Our approach to academic, social, and personal development helps every Kiski student flourish in their own unique way. Students are encouraged to develop curiosity, creative problem solving, and a passion to pursue. Kiski offers programs for a variety of interests, with expert faculty guiding students through engaging lessons, hands-on experiences, and one-on-one tutoring. Beyond the classroom, residential life at Kiski gives students the chance to gain practical living skills and friendships that last a lifetime. Whether artistically, musically, or athletically inclined, our girls and boys have access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.

Making Kiski more affordable for our families
How high will education costs continue to rise? We decided to do something about it and broke from an industry trend that saw annual tuition increases far outpacing increases in household income. We’re proud to be the first private boarding school in the country to reset its tuition, offering the same high-quality education that we have for more than 130 years at a more affordable rate for our families. Find out more details about our lower tuition, scholarships, and other assistance programs available.

“My son is a bright kid, but in the public school he would not prepare for class, he would not hand in homework even if he did it, and he certainly would not even consider participating in class. Kiski changed all that after he joined in grade 10. The kid who would receive low grades in eighth and ninth grade in his public school not only graduated high school, but is going on to the University of South Carolina, and he’s thrilled about it.”
