Kiski Soccer has a long, proud tradition whose origin reaches back to the fall of 1947 when Kiski first fielded a soccer team. Kiski graduates have gone on to play soccer at colleges and universities such as Akron, Towson, Grove City, Ithaca, Bethany and Washington & Jefferson. Each season, Kiski soccer players continue the tradition by learning good sportsmanship above all. They are also taught to appreciate the game, to play with passion, to have a strong work ethic, and to build team unity. Winning is important, but it is not the end to which any means are justified. The philosophy of the Kiski Soccer program is simple: Through hard work, dedication, and respect for ourselves and opponents we strive to play the beautiful game the way it was meant to be played. We play soccer with pride for our school, for ourselves, and most of all because we love it! Every member of the team will support each other through the ups and downs of the soccer season and school year and commit to giving their all in every aspect of their lives. The Kiski Soccer program strives to uphold this philosophy and has worked hard to strengthen its schedule to challenge our athletes with the best competition in the Mid-Atlantic region. We are always looking for a new challenge and work to foster this desire in our players.
Kiski plays on the Andreini Soccer field which is one of the most beautiful soccer facilities in the area and a wonderful venue for night games. Boys who wish to try out for varsity soccer begin their training for the season in late August during preseason practice.
